In the Indian state of Telangana, a riot broke out at a theater after the refusal to screen actor Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2’.
According to Indian media, in the town of Chintoor, a man named Bajori Veena, along with his associates, stormed into a local theater, causing a commotion and protesting against the theater management.
Reports stated that during the protest, Bajori Veena and his companions damaged the glass windows of the theater.
The protesters were angry about the theater not screening ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ starring the popular actor Allu Arjun, and even threatened to kill the theater owner. In response, the theater owner filed a complaint with the police, who took action and arrested Bajori Veena and his associates.
Indian media has claimed that ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ was eagerly awaited for a year and is expected to break box office records. The film, which was released yesterday in India, stars Telugu actor Allu Arjun and actress Rashmika Mandanna.
