According to market sources, milk sellers in Lahore have raised the price of milk from 180 rupees to 200 rupees per liter, while the price of yogurt has increased from 200 rupees to 220 and 230 rupees per kilogram.
Sources stated that the prices of milk and yogurt in different areas of the city have increased by 20 to 30 rupees per kilogram.
Regarding the price hike, milk sellers and shopkeepers have explained that the costs have increased, which led to the price rise.
On the other hand, citizens have expressed their frustration over the increase in milk and yogurt prices, stating that the administration has left the public helpless, with no one holding them accountable.
