A German man known for breaking his own records has reclaimed two of his previous titles by drinking several liters of lemon and lime juice in a single day.
Thirty-year-old André Ortolf had previously set records for the fastest time to drink one liter of lemon juice through a straw and the same for lime juice. However, earlier this year, fellow serial record-breaker David Rush had surpassed André’s achievements.
Rush broke Ortolf’s lemon juice record of 16 seconds by finishing it in 13.53 seconds, and his lime juice record of 16.82 seconds by completing it in 13.99 seconds.
Now, André Ortolf has reclaimed both titles, setting new records of 13.3 seconds for lemon juice and 13.51 seconds for lime juice.
He mentioned that breaking both records in a single day had minor effects on his body.
Speaking to Guinness World Records, Ortolf shared, “Generally, eating and drinking records don’t cause me issues. This time, my stomach was fine, but I experienced some discomfort in my teeth, which subsided the next day.”
