In Thailand, a man was miraculously rescued alive after falling into a dry well and being trapped for three days.
This astonishing incident took place in the Mae Sot area of Tak province in Thailand.
According to local police, a Chinese national had fallen into the dry well, and his cries for help were mistaken by the local villagers as the sound of a ghost.
On November 24, the police received reports of strange noises coming from a nearby forest. When police officers and rescue personnel arrived to investigate, they heard the bizarre sounds.
Following the noises, they discovered a Chinese man trapped inside a 12-meter deep well located in the forest.
The rescue operation to pull him out of the well lasted for 30 minutes. The man’s condition was quite bad; his left arm was broken, and his body was covered in scratches. He was immediately transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Later, with the help of a translator, it was revealed that the man was 22-year-old Liu Chun from China. He had been trapped in the well without food or water for three days. To conserve his energy, he only shouted for help once an hour.
However, the local villagers, frightened by the strange noises, did nothing to investigate.
Now, Liu Chun’s condition is stable, and the rescue team believes he had wandered off into the forest and fell into the well while attempting to find his way out.
Authorities have sealed the well to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
