Google has released an exciting new game based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
If you enjoy playing chess, you will definitely like this AI-powered game, as the pieces will be generated using generative AI.
For this, the company has created a special website. At the start of the game, you will need to briefly describe how the design of the white pieces should look. Based on your description, Google’s Imagen 3 AI model will generate the white pieces and provide an idea for the black pieces.
After that, you can play the game, but it cannot be considered the ideal chess app. You will have 3 different settings and 2 time controls for the game, but you won’t be able to review previous moves or see which pieces have been captured.
This game was released recently during the 2024 World Chess Championship. Google was the main sponsor of the event, which is why the game was introduced to users.
Google also announced the introduction of a chess bot within Gemini. This new feature will be available to Gemini Advanced users in the coming weeks.
