Former Indian cricketer, politician, and host Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife, Navjot Kaur, has received a legal notice of 850 crores for claims regarding her husband’s recovery from the deadly disease, cancer, with the help of diet.
According to Indian media reports, Navjot Kaur has been sent a legal notice by Chhattisgarh Civil Society (CCS), asking for clarification regarding the claims made by Sidhu about curing cancer through food. The notice requests evidence to support Sidhu’s claims, stating that Kaur must provide proof of these claims within seven days. Otherwise, she would be required to pay 850 crores in damages for spreading “misleading” claims. If the payment is not made, legal action will be taken against Navjot Kaur.
The notice also questions whether she only used food items like neem leaves, lemon water, tulsi, and turmeric for her recovery, or if she also used allopathic medicines. The notice further states that Sidhu’s claims might create a negative perception of allopathic treatments, potentially encouraging cancer patients to abandon medicine in favor of food and remedies, which could put their lives at risk. Therefore, Kaur is urged to clarify her husband’s statement.
Sidhu’s Wife’s Claims of Cancer Recovery
Recently, Navjot Singh Sidhu shared a video on Instagram, announcing that his wife had been cured of stage 4 cancer. In the video, Sidhu explained that his wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, which had spread to the bones, and she had only a 5% chance of survival. However, after his daughter researched and devised a diet plan, his wife miraculously overcame stage 4 cancer in 40 days.
Diet Plan
Sidhu explained that his wife followed a strict diet plan. After dinner at 6 pm, she did not consume any food, and the next day she started with warm water containing lemon, raw turmeric, and apple cider vinegar. Half an hour later, she would consume neem leaves and tulsi. According to Sidhu, she gave up tea and instead drank a concoction made of cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, small cardamom, and a little jaggery. Additionally, she was given fruits like blueberries or pomegranates, vegetable juices made from beetroot, carrots, and amla, and for dinner, she would have almond flour roti with vegetables and salad. Her meals were cooked with coconut, olive, or almond oil instead of refined oils. Due to careful attention and precautions, positive results were observed in just 40 days.
