Flight operations were disrupted at Paris’ busiest airport due to a missing pet dog.
According to international media, two runways at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport were closed to search for the missing pet dog.
Reports stated that the dog, named Amelka, and its owner had arrived in Paris via an Air France flight en route to Dallas. During unloading, Amelka escaped from its crate, prompting announcements across the airport to locate the pet.
To aid in the search, two runways were temporarily closed, and drones were deployed.
Air France stated that the dog had been spotted multiple times, and efforts were made to capture it. However, it has not yet been caught.
