Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its most affordable phone of the year under its Redmi brand, the Redmi A4 5G.
Although the Redmi A4 was introduced last month in China and a few other countries, it has now been made available for sale in several countries, including Pakistan.
The phone comes with a powerful battery and a single rear camera, which has contributed to its lower price.
The phone features a 6.7-inch display and runs on Xiaomi’s own operating system, Hyper OS 14, based on Android 14.
It is available with 4GB of RAM and two storage variants: 64GB and 112GB.
The phone is equipped with a 5,160mAh powerful battery and supports 18W fast charging. It also comes with several other features.
On the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera. The company claims that the camera technology has been upgraded with several added features.
The Redmi A4 is priced lower due to its powerful battery, single rear camera, and 4GB of RAM. The 64GB storage variant is priced at 27,000 PKR, while the 112GB variant is priced at 31,000 PKR.
Although the phone is considered affordable due to its price, some users have expressed disappointment with its features.
