ISLAMABAD: The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court has brushed off a constitutional petition against the extension of the tenure of the Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir. The petition become disregarded after the petitioner Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi failed to seem before the court docket and guard his argument in spite of repeated notices. Also, the new law fixing the tenure of all 3 carrier chiefs paved the manner for the dismissal of the petition.
