Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has given a final call for protests on November 24. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail on Wednesday, PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, announced that Imran Khan has called for the protest, which will take place both in Pakistan and across the world. She emphasized that the protest will continue until their demands are met.
During her media talk, Aleema Khan stated that the PTI founder has urged various groups to join the protest. “Our mandate was stolen, and a few selected people were made members of the National Assembly (MNAs) to pass favorable legislation,” she claimed.
She further explained, “Today, the PTI founder addressed the nation directly. He appealed to farmers, saying that their future is at stake, and given the current state of the country, they must join the protest. He urged lawyers to stand with the Supreme Court for the supremacy of the law and called on civil society members, saying every citizen must rise for their rights. He also addressed students, telling them they need to come out for the sake of their future.”
Aleema Khan added that Imran Khan has directed party ticket holders and all workers to participate in the protest to decide whether they want to live in freedom or under martial law.
