The Chief Coordinator Tajir Dost Scheme, FBR, Naeem Mir has stated that non-filing traders would confront innumerable difficulties in running their businesses after expiration of the date for filing returns, that is, 31st October. This he conveyed through a message during meeting with a business delagation.
He said that the trader community should not wait for extension in the date for filing returns and added that the traders must keep a distance from the directives of leaders who support strikes and protests only. “Our priority is to think for the welfare and betterment of traders so that they could run their businesses in a smooth manner” added Mr. Mir.
While talking about the elimination of non-filer category the Chief Coordinator Tajir Dost Scheme FBR stated that the said category would soon be erased from the working books and its removal would create such obstructions for traders that their businesses would be at the brink of utter collapse. He urged the non-filing traders for registering themselves with FBR as their security lies in becoming filer and filing their return properly.
“FBR is going to initiate stern action against tax evaders and non-filing traders cannot escape from FBR then” concluded Mr. Mir.
