The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the government of Pakistan will ensure protection for the Chinese citizens. Due to the recent attack Chinese Ministry has demanded to improve the security measures which is absolutely legitimate.
Actually the top officials of both countries know that anti-social elements are trying to stop the development of the country. This is the reason why Chinese are targeted every time they get a chance.
Thus our administration and related institutions cannot ignore the security of the Chinese which was mentioned by the Prime Minister himself. In this regard the Chinese ministers have said in their statement that Pakistan should take effective measures to protect CPEC, Chinese citizens, projects and institutions.
According to the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they are deeply concerned about the attack on Chinese citizens and strongly condemn the terrorist attack and express their condolences to the victims of the attack and their families.
The Chinese authorities also know very well that terrorists are the common enemy of humanity but the efforts of terrorist forces to damage Pakistan-China trust and cooperation and CPEC will never succeed then China will continue to support Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.
In these circumstances when Chinese are being repeatedly targeted the statement of the Chinese spokesperson is very welcome that Pakistan is ready to work with Pakistan to spoil any attempt to sabotage China-Pakistan relations.
According to the spokesperson china is ready to work with Pakistan for an emergency response mechanism has been activated in Chinese embassies and consulates besides the emergency response mechanism has started monitoring the situation immediately after the attack.
China has requested the Pakistani authorities to provide all possible help to the injured and a full investigation into the terrorist attack. It is a requested to the Pakistani authorities to bring the culprits to justice. It should be remembered that 3 people including Chinese nationals were killed and 17 injured in a suicide blast near Karachi Airport.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the attack on Chinese citizens in Karachi. The Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families, the leadership and the people of China while praying for the speedy recovery of those injured in the explosion. The Prime Minister said that the elements involved in the explosion cannot be Pakistanis they are enemies of Pakistan, therefore Pakistan is determined to protect Chinese friends and no stone will be left unturned in this regard.
There is no doubt in the statement issued by the Prime Minister but now the protection of the Chinese residents has become necessary for the entire nation because anti-social elements have targeted the chines that has supported Pakistan in every difficult time. Even now, when Pakistan is facing tough economic conditions and political anarchy China has helped Pakistan the most, which is certainly proud of the entire Pakistani nation.
The protection of Chinese and engineers is also important in the sense that they are involved in the most important projects of the century like CPEC in Pakistan, which can change the destiny of Pakistan but if its path continues to be obstructed in this way, then this journey will become more difficult.
We are sure that our respective officials will not allow such a time to come and will always be there to protect our Chinese friends like a leaden wall. It is only thanks to our security forces that Chinese friends are working here but perhaps now their security will have to be tightened so that no terrorist group and their facilitators get a chance to break this great and historic friendship. Therefore, it is now necessary that in view of the repeated demands of China and the instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, such foolproof measures will be ensured that no one will have the courage to even look at the Chinese citizens. It is hoped that the orders of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will be followed and no minute will be spared in using all the resources to protect the Chinese friends.
