ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday appreciated the efforts of renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik on promoting the true image of Islam. According to details, Dr Naik called the Prime Minister in Islamabad. Prime Minister Shehbaz welcomed Dr. Naik with enthusiasm. “It is a matter of immense pleasure that most of the followers are young people. I listened carefully to your lectures,” PM Shehbaz said. Meanwhile, Dr Naik said, “Pakistan is the only country that came into existence in the name of Islam. We will achieve success if we follow the path shown by Islam.” “My task is to spread the message of Islam throughout the world,” he added. On the other hand Dr. Naik said, “This is my first official visit to Pakistan for two weeks. It was 33 years ago that I came to Pakistan for personal reasons. That was the time, I didn’t speak.” “Visiting Pakistan has been a dream for years,” said Dr. Naik. He claimed, “I have received another invitation from Pakistan. “I have several meetings in Islamabad where I will also meet religious scholars,” he said.
