ISLAMABAD: Awam Pakistan (APP) convener Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday reprimanded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder for not doing anything for the masses in three years. Expressing his thoughts, the former prime minister said, “Efforts have been made to blacken the constitutional amendment. He mocked the existing government saying, “The masses faced hardships because of the government but not because of public meetings.” He said: “No member of the Government, Senate or National Assembly has seen the amendment. The majority in the council was made up of those who took the mandates. He said, “Police from one district are staging a protest on the state highway. Have you ever heard that the police, who are responsible for providing protection to citizens, organize protests themselves? Abbasi said: “Constitutional amendments are meant to gain interests and expand power.”
