SWAT: Awami National Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the operation is still going on in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but we oppose any operation without taking the Pakhtun nation into their confidence and will fully resist it.
He expressed these views while addressing a gathering organized by ANP District Swat in Mingora on the occasion of “Babara Day”.
On this occasion, ANP Provincial General Secretary Shah Hussain Khan, ANP Swat Chapter President Sher Shah Khan, District General Secretary Abdul Malik, former President Ayub Khan Asharay and former member of Provincial Assembly Rehmat Ali Khan also spoke.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that this war of dollars has put us against the wall and we will not allow this war to be imposed again and will resist this war on every front.
He said that atrocities are being committed on innocent Muslims in Palestine and massacre of innocent people is going on, but no one is going to stop the hand of Israel. That is why Muslim countries raised their voice against this cruelty.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain further said that the Pakhtun nation has shed a lot of blood and carried out many funerals for the sake of peace and we do not have the courage to carry out more funerals.
He said that we stand with our police on every front and pay our respects to the martyrs of the police.
“ANP is the representative party of Pakhtun nation and is fighting for the rights of Pakhtun nation, added that the sacrifices we have made for the sake of peace are not hidden from anyone, but further unrest in Pakhtunkhwa cannot be tolerated under any circumstances,” he said.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that once again there is an attempt to worsen the situation in Swat, but we will fight against these situations.
He further said that a drama has been created by arresting General Faiz in the housing scheme.We demand that a case of terrorism be made against General Faiz and his associates.
He said that the shootings and incidents of unknown persons at police posts in Matta Tehsil and Taligram of Charbah Tehsil in Swat intolerable, added that Bajaur and other areas of the province are in the grip of unrest and the rulers are busy in their luxuries.
He further said that the people of Swat have maintained the atmosphere of peace through Paswan and we pay tribute to the people of Swat.
He said that the sacrifices we made during the last terrorism. Offerings of lives were offered and the soil was made the cradle of peace, but today that history is being repeated once again, but if there is an attempt to worsen the situation again, we will strongly resist.
