ISLAMABAD: Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) has launched a Japanese short course for skilled workers to get jobs in Japan as basic knowledge is a must for job seekers interested in working in Japan.
An official source told APP that OEC was a public manpower promotion agency which played a vital role in providing maximum jobs to Pakistanis abroad to generate huge remittances. In this regard, OEC countries that require applications from eligible candidates to apply for a Japanese language course should have at least a secondary education, an age limit of 18-39 years, and one year of experience in the relevant field.
The course fee was Rs 10,000 non-refundable and the course lasted for approximately three months and two sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening. He said that “all interested job seekers in Japan can visit jobs.oec.gov.pk/jlt_form.”
