Islamabad: The Global Dialogue on ” Global opportunities in Deepining China reform in the New Era,” organized by China Media Group, held in Islamabad.
The chief guest, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad, Yuan Qiang, addressed the occasion, stating that China is keen to promote counter-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan to maintain a peaceful environment for the joint development projects of both countries. Yuan Qiang noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to China was highly successful, during which the leaders of both countries agreed to deepen cooperation in various sectors. He highlighted the potential for enhancing collaboration between the two countries in industry, commerce, agriculture, information technology, finance, astronomy, and other fields.
Yuan Qiang emphasized that under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, Chinese-style modernization and openness are milestones for the path of peaceful development. He mentioned that the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping are being implemented to promote the construction of a community with a shared future.
He also informed that the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China had recently concluded in Beijing, marking a milestone for China’s modernization and openness in the new era.
In his video speech, China Media Group President Shen Haixiong said that Chinese modernization is advancing through comprehensive deep reforms and openness, and it will certainly reach greater heights.
Du Jianing (Tasbeem), Director of China Media Group in Islamabad, said in her speech that China Media Group is striving to tell the story of China’s reforms and openness and is actively acting as a bridge for exchanges and dialogue about Chinese modernization. She described the friendship between Pakistan and China as sweeter than honey, deeper than the ocean, stronger than iron, and higher than the Himalayas.
Executive Director of the Pakistan Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future, Khalid Taimoor, pointed out the immense opportunities for cooperation between Pakistan and China in the field of information technology. He noted China’s remarkable progress in the production of electric vehicles and suggested that Pakistan should benefit from China’s experiences and successes in this area.
President of the Pakistan Overseas Chinese Association, La Lianjie, Project Director of the Federal Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Asim Khan, Project Director of CPEC, Federal Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Zafar Hassan, and other speakers also addressed the event, highlighting the relations, cooperation, and opportunities between Pakistan and China.
