Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday reiterated the province’s commitment to encourage professionally educated and trained women entrepreneurs for economic prosperity.
Addressing representatives of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) here at the Governor’s House, the KP Governor stressed the need to provide employment opportunities for educated and skilled KP women which is essential for financial independence and economic empowerment.
Appreciating the role of the Women’s Council in promoting business, trade and professional entrepreneurship in KP, the Governor said that the women of the province have proven their courage in various fields of business and trade progress. highly motivated and positive development.
He continues to fully cooperate with women investors in the trade and business sector to put the province on the road to prosperity.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that the skills, abilities and general capabilities of women of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are known and creating business opportunities for them will definitely benefit the entire country apart from having a positive effect on the national economy.
Vice President of WCCI Anila Khalid thanked the governor for his trust in working with women entrepreneurs, asking for the allocation of land for the women’s chamber, the implementation of women’s development projects in KP, in addition to communication with other provinces and foreign donors.
The delegation included Saima Mehboob, Zara Imtiaz, Tajla Khalid, Azra Noorin, Samina Ahmed and other officials of the office. The meeting discussed the issues and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.
