La Roja remain unbeaten in Group A2 of the Nations League and are guaranteed top two with two games remaining in the campaign against the Czech Republic and Belgium in mid-July.
Spain needed two goals from Irene Paredes to draw with Denmark in the second round.
Striker Gianni Thomsen gave the visitors a 2-0 lead in the 72nd minute from Spain’s back, which was capped by Garcia’s 92nd minute effort.
In Group A3, defending European champions England beat France 2-1 in Saint-Etienne on Friday, after losing by the same margin in Newcastle.
The Lions, who won the last Covid-19 postponed Euro 2022 before losing to Spain in last year’s World Cup final, took a 2-0 lead through Georgia Stanway and Alessia Russo after the 35-minute mark.
“We are on our feet before the start. We know the other day was not bad, but we had some things to fix,” said Stanway broadcaster ITV.
“We know how important it is to get three points. This is a lot. This is a really big win for us today,” he said.

2017 European champions Holland are not guaranteed a place in Switzerland next year after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Finland.
Elsewhere in Group A1, Italy also drew 1-1 with Norway, with all four teams in contention for the top two spots and a place in the final.
In Group A4, Germany reached Euro 2025 after beating Poland 3-1 in Gdynia, with Bayern Munich striker Le Schueller scoring a brace.
In Group B, where the top three from each of the four teams will advance to the play-off, already qualified host Switzerland fell 1-0 to Hungary in their first defeat of the campaign.
