Islamabad: The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a subsidiary of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Resource Development, will export around 100 female nurses to a healthcare firm in Malaysia.
Officials told APP here on Thursday that the demand for female nursing staff in Malaysia has increased over time as qualified and professional staff are working in several hospitals in Malaysia.
The OEC said job seekers have submitted their applications to Malaysia and specified their skills and experience.
For the ICU, 100 nurses are required to have a diploma in nursing or 16 to have a bachelor’s degree in nursing or post RN from a recognized institution.
Candidates must be registered with the Nursing Council and have a minimum of 03 years working experience in a hospital. Postgraduate training in OT/ICU & Paediatrics will be preferred and not older than 45 years. The basic salary will be between RM3000 to RM4500.
Healthcare firms include monthly special allowances for pediatric nurses for general nursing, ICU & OT.
Department Specialist Allowance RM1100, General Nursing Allowance RM700, Degree Allowance RM400 and Post Basic Allowance RM800. Two operating theater nurses and three pediatric nurses.
The source also shared the terms and conditions of the employment contract, as the salary of the approved employee will be reviewed in March each year based on the performance of the individual employee and market salary conditions, and the salary increase will be effective in January.
