Islamabad — Zong has partnered with JDC Foundation to provide free, state‑of‑the‑art medical diagnostic services for underserved communities in Karachi. The initiative aims to reduce barriers to healthcare by covering the cost of essential medical tests, ensuring that individuals who previously could not afford screenings can now access reliable diagnostics.
Free Diagnostic Services for Critical Conditions
The services include Complete Blood Count (CBC), HbA1C, and Kidney and Liver Function Tests (RFT/LFT). These tests are vital for the early detection and management of anaemia, diabetes, infections, and chronic illnesses — conditions that often remain undiagnosed due to affordability challenges.
Statement from Zong Leadership
Nabila Yazdani, Head of Strategy, Communications & Sustainability at Zong, said the partnership reflects a commitment to equitable healthcare. “Access to quality healthcare should never be limited by financial barriers. By partnering with JDC Foundation, we are empowering underserved communities to take charge of their health through free, reliable diagnostics,” she noted.
Focus on Sustainable Impact
The collaboration underscores Zong’s broader efforts to support marginalized communities by enabling equitable access to healthcare services. It highlights the role of partnerships in fostering sustainable impact and addressing gaps in Pakistan’s healthcare system.
