Vice President of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Mrs. Qurat ul Ain met Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Federal Ministry of Vocational Education and Training. He briefed FM on research, research and collaboration between academia and industry, technical education and other issues.

He further said that women are important pillars of our society and skilled women should come forward for development and women should play a role in all fields like politics, religion and education. He said that the government spends a lot of money for the development of universities, and it has become the responsibility of universities to give special attention to research in accordance with the requirements of modern times and to bring public sector universities to the national level. and international level. evaluation

He said, the secret of a developed country is a skilled workforce. He said that the government should make good policies to facilitate the industrialists. Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Mrs. Quratul Ain urged the government to formulate a policy to promote technical education in the country to achieve the goal of creating jobs in the country. He stressed the need to launch a National Technical Education Program to meet the demands of our products as well as produce a skilled workforce to meet the needs of the Arab and Gulf countries. Pakistan’s rapid population growth and the corresponding increase in the labor force are a heavy burden on the economy. Every year, millions of young people enter the labor market but do not find work and do not contribute to national development due to a lack of relevant skills. Apart from the school requirement, there is a huge demand to set up many vocational training centers.
Ms. Qurat ul Ain Futher, Vice President, FPCCI, also urged the government to develop policies that require mandatory linkages between institutions and industries for existing and future sectors in order to increase employment opportunities.
