Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s security forces eliminated 19 Indian proxy militants during a high-intensity intelligence-based operation in Orakzai District overnight on 7/8 October. The operation targeted members of Fitna al Khwarij, a group linked to Indian-sponsored terrorism, following confirmed intelligence reports of their presence in the area.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops engaged the militants with precision, resulting in their deaths. However, the clash claimed the lives of eleven Pakistani soldiers, including two commanding officers who led the mission from the front.

Following the engagement, sanitization operations began to clear any remaining threats. Amid rising threats of hybrid warfare and cross-border infiltration, this operation reinforces Pakistan’s counterterrorism strategy. The nation continues to mourn its martyrs while standing united against foreign-sponsored militancy.
