The Center’s Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the month of Syawal will be held in the country, which means the first day of Eid al-Fitr will fall tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the month of Shawwal was not sighted in the country, meaning the first day of Eid al-Adha will fall on Thursday.
The announcement was made after a meeting held in Islamabad by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Moon Sighting Agency.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday, the committee chairman said that the decision was taken based on the instructions received from various parts of the country.
