Like the rest of the world in Pakistan also Juma-ul-Wada was observed as the Day of Al-Quds. In this regard the Gaza Night was celebrated under the backings of Jamaat-e-Islami while other religious parties also organized special ceremonies and expressed solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians.
On the other hand demonstrations against Israel were also held in the Arab world where this process has now been accelerated. However there is a lot of anger in the Muslim Ummah over the continuation of relations with Israel by Arab countries.
Meanwhile a good development has been that the UAE has suspended all diplomatic relations with Israel. This initiative has been taken by the Emir of the Emirates after the death of 7 workers of a foreign welfare organization in Gaza which is being appreciated.
According to the statement issued to the Arab media in this regard the Emirati ambassador to Israel Muhammad Al-Khawaja said that the death of aid workers is the darkest day. Meanwhile Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Jordan’s King Abdullah had a telephone conversation in which the two leaders discussed the developments in Gaza.
The leaders of Saudi Arabia and Jordan agreed that the basis of a two-state solution but there is a need to find a political solution to the Palestinian problem. It is being considered a weak position by critics because Israel has crossed all limits of humiliating humanity but despite of this powerful governments like Saudi Arabia and Jordan are begging Israel.
On which the hatred against theses governments is increasing even in Muslim countries.
The ambassador of the UAE has cross all limits. During the month of Ramadan the Israeli forces have dyed their hands in the blood of Palestinians but it seems that the Arabs do not care.
It is very unfortunate that the Israeli president Isaac Herzog organized an iftar dinner for Muslim leaders and diplomats in which Emirati Ambassador to Israel Muhammad Al-Khawaja also participated. Ali Salem, a Muslim Arab leader from the northern Israeli city of Nazareth also participated in the iftar dinner and he spoke to Israel that they called for a cease-fire in Gaza, but this demand is nothing but hypocrisy, seeing that the blood of the Muslims is laid under eating tables but the stomachs of these leader are filled on that bloodshed which is itself shameful act.
Israel is getting fatter and fatter with such accumulation and display because the Arab countries are busy feeding it with blood. All the efforts of the Arabs will be in vain until the Arabs stop putting their Palestinian brothers in front of the wolf called Israel.
On the other hand Israel has approved the opening of the northern border for the first time since October 7. This step has been taken under international pressure. If this should be a trap then it can also hear the oppressed Palestinian.
In addition the Israeli security cabinet also approved the use of Ashdod port. According to the American media the opening of Ashdod port will allow more humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. This is a good move, at least to help the oppressed Palestinians get food for themselves. Help will come but this is temporary progress. As before Israel can always go back on its promise and attack the Palestinians again.
Therefore there is a need for the Arab countries to immediately cut off their diplomatic relations with Israel at the first opportunity so that pressure can be increased on this brutal country. Until the Arab countries themselves heal the wounds of their oppressed brother Palestine, the international community cannot help them.
If the talks held between the leaders of Saudi and Jordan yesterday are extended further and a call is made to take action within Israel then the international community may again be concerned about this issue.
As long as the Arab countries do not respond to bricks with stones, this process will continue. If the Muslim leadership wants to give the Palestinian Muslims their rights, then they will have to help them themselves. It would be foolish act to be at the mercy of the international community.
