Swabi (Mustafa Kamal): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s senior leader Asad Qaiser has said that PTI’s Peshawar Rally on September 27 will be a turning point. The rally will focus on the release of Imran Khan and the protection of people’s rights.
According to Qaiser, the rally theme “Release Imran Khan” highlights its core mission. The first goal is to end the ongoing operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The second is to bring public problems to the forefront. He stressed that Imran Khan could be free if he accepted the conditions. However, Khan chose to stand firm for the supremacy of the Constitution, the rule of law, and provincial rights.
Qaiser explained that Imran Khan believes natural resources belong first to the people of the province. “PTI’s Peshawar Rally is not only about Imran Khan. It is about public rights and the fundamental freedoms of every Pakistani,” he said.
He further noted that Khan’s imprisonment represents resistance against the hybrid system. “We will rise together and declare we reject such a system,” he added. In addition, Qaiser strongly condemned the tragic Tirah incident in District Khyber. He said PTI stands with the victims and will express solidarity during the rally.
Qaiser urged citizens across Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to join the historic gathering. “This is a people’s rally,” he said. “It is about defending rights and safeguarding the Constitution.”
Meanwhile, PTI leaders are mobilizing supporters across the province. They are arranging transport, banners, and public meetings. According to party workers, the rally is expected to attract thousands. Therefore, the event may become one of the largest in Peshawar’s history.
