Moreover, the operation reflects the provincial government’s commitment to curbing encroachments. Authorities have made it clear: no permanent or temporary structures will be tolerated. In fact, violators will face strict legal consequences.

As the drive continues, officials emphasized transparency and public cooperation. They urged residents to report encroachments and support efforts to restore natural waterways and public access. Notably, the cleanup has already improved drainage and reduced flood risks in affected areas.

In addition, the administration plans to monitor encroachment-prone zones regularly. This proactive approach will help prevent future violations and maintain urban order.

While some locals expressed concern over displacement, others welcomed the initiative, citing long-standing issues with blocked pathways and environmental degradation. Officials assured that all actions follow legal protocols and prioritize community welfare.

Ultimately, the anti-encroachment operation in Lower Dir marks a significant step toward sustainable urban management. By reclaiming encroached land, the district aims to enhance infrastructure, protect natural resources, and uphold the rule of law.
