Fauji Foundation Hosts Pakistan Defence Day Ceremony at FUI

An elegant ceremony honored Pakistan’s resilient nation and valiant Armed Forces on the 60th Defence Day. To mark this occasion, Fauji Foundation organized the Pakistan Defence Day Ceremony at Foundation University Islamabad (FUI).

Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Haider (Hilal-e-Imtiaz Military) (Retired), Managing Director & CEO of Fauji Foundation, attended as the Chief Guest. Alongside him, senior management of Fauji Foundation and FUI, as well as numerous doctors, paramedics, and students, participated in the event.

Pakistan Defence Day Ceremony at Fauji Foundation Islamabad

Students from the Fauji Foundation Education System performed tableaus and national songs highlighting Defence and Martyrs Day. In addition, the foundation recognized high-achieving students, children of Shuhadas, ex-servicemen, and employees who made outstanding welfare contributions. This celebration underscored excellence and dedication, which were central to the Pakistan Defence Day Ceremony.

In his address, the Chief Guest praised the Armed Forces’ unwavering resolve to defend Pakistan at all costs. He further emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of martyrs and their families.

The Managing Director explained Fauji Foundation’s role as the largest self-sustained social welfare organization in Pakistan. Moreover, he highlighted its support for families and wards of martyrs through diverse commercial ventures. He also noted that the foundation contributes significantly to Pakistan’s economy, industrial development, and national exchequer through corporate taxes.
