India is conspiring to create unrest in Nepal by using the youth through the Generation Z movement.
India, based on the Hindutva ideology, is engaged in internal interference in neighboring countries, including Nepal, for regional dominance.
Indian media is fully highlighting the Generation Z protest movement in Nepal under a set agenda.
According to Indian newspaper Indian Express;
“Protests in Nepal against social media ban, 14 people have been killed in clashes.”
The Nepali government has shut down 26 platforms including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube, Indian Express.
Nepali youth leaders have supported the protestors, curfew has been imposed in Kathmandu, Indian Express.
The Indian government is supporting such movements to establish its influence in the region.
Earlier in 2019, India challenged Nepal’s geographical integrity by issuing new maps.
In the maps, Kalapani of Nepal, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura were shown as Indian territory, on which Nepal lodged a strong protest.
On solid evidence of Indian interference, an anti-India campaign called “India Out” was also launched in the Maldives.
Three officials of the Maldivian government have called Modi a “clown,” a “terrorist,” and “a puppet of Israel.”
India has also gained benefits in Bangladesh through political interference by supporting a corrupt Prime Minister like Sheikh Hasina.
The Teesta River dispute with Bangladesh and suspension of the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan are clear examples of India’s water aggression.
India has earlier been involved in fueling the Tamil Tigers movement in Sri Lanka and inciting the 2022 riots.
Aggressive statements against neighboring countries and internal interference reflect India’s hostility and aggressive mindset.
