Lahore: In a significant breakthrough, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has successfully opened a new bank account, paving the way for the transfer of funds from FIFA. The development comes as a relief to the PFF, which has been grappling with financial difficulties due to the closure of its previous official bank account.

Under the leadership of PFF President, Mr. Mohsin Gillani, the federation has managed to open a new official bank account with a private bank in Lahore. The bank has approved the account based on FIFA’s documentation, and the PFF has already updated FIFA about the new account details.

With the new bank account in place, the PFF is expected to receive all pending funding from FIFA. The transfer of funds will enable the PFF to overcome its financial difficulties and resume its normal operations.

The PFF’s previous official bank account was closed due to legal complications, which led to a freeze on FIFA’s funding. The lack of access to funds had severely impacted the PFF’s ability to function effectively.

The opening of the new bank account marks a new chapter for the PFF, allowing it to move forward with its operations and work towards the development of football in Pakistan. The PFF is expected to utilize the FIFA funds to promote football activities, support national teams, and improve infrastructure.
