Our army is a Beacon of Hope for his nation. Their devoted services, bravery, and dedication to duty are an inspiration to us all. When every citizen of Pakistan works and contributes together in the progress of the homeland as like as a determination of our army, then our land will be more prosperous in all fields.  During the recent types of devastation like heavy floods across the country, our Pak Army has emerged as a beacon of hope, providing critical support and reassurance to affected communities. As we navigate this challenging time, we must recognize the sacrifices made by our armed forces and support their efforts to bring relief and hope to those affected. Together, we can overcome this disaster and rebuild our communities stronger and more resilient than ever. The topographical location of our country is an unpredictable type, and overall, climate change frequently prevails in Pakistan. So, such types of changes and inadequate infrastructure exacerbate the impact of these disasters. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) was established to coordinate disaster response efforts across the country and try to mitigate the effects of any type of sudden disaster. Because Pakistan is prone to various natural disasters, including floods, earthquakes, landslides, and droughts, it requires a more and more robust planning of the disaster management system by the government.

The active role of the army in a disaster situation

The response of our national army in disaster areas within no time plays a vital role and leveraging its resources, expertise, and organizational structure to support the affected communities. Their involvement in disaster management services for the nation on a priority. Following a disaster, army personnel initiate search and rescue operations in affected areas, with the primary mission of locating and evacuating people trapped or stranded. Additionally, the Army distributes essential relief supplies, including food, shelter, and medical aid, to affected communities. The Army also provides medical assistance, including emergency surgeries and health care services, to affected communities. Moreover, our Pak Army is also committed to providing infrastructure support, such as road clearance and bridge repair, to facilitate relief efforts and restore connectivity.
