Bahawalpur: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Farhan Farooq was given a grand welcome upon his arrival at the office after being awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of his exceptional services. President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred civil awards to Dr. Farhan Farooq for their outstanding services and exceptional performance during Marka-e-Haq.
On this occasion, Rescue 1112 personnel saluted him. Dr. Farhan Farooq was congratulated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Dr. Sami Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tayyab, District Officer 1122 Baqir Hussain, other officers, staff and civil socity who presented him with bouquets and expressed their best wishes.
Meanwhile, Former President of Bahawalpur Press Club Tauseef Bhatti, Former General Secretary Irfan Joiya and Journalists Rashid Hashmi, Mian Nadeem Abbas, Khurram Shahzad, Kamran Abbasi also congratulated the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Farhan Farooq on receiving the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
Dr. Farhan Farooq has also served in Sindh and the federal capital, in addition to Punjab.
