MULTAN: The quarterly Kifalat installment of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has been increased by Rs 10,500 as more than 2.2 million beneficiaries of the southern zone of Punjab would get the benefits.
These views were expressed by BISP South Zone Director Sheikh Muhammad Ameen while talking to media persons here.
He said that the third quarterly installment of the current financial year has been released to families registered with BISP.
BISP teams would remain present in the field to monitor the quarterly installments of the Kifalat program as there was zero tolerance for corruption. He said any financial aid deduction complaint against any retailer would be taken through a strict legal process.
The zonal director further said that they are trying their best to ensure the right of deserving women completely and transparently.
He said that registered women can collect their quarterly installment from the nearest selected HBL agents.
He urged women registered with BISP to count their money and take the receipt from the agent and contact the nearest tehsil office or BISP helpline number 0800-26477 in case of money deduction or any complaint.
