Addressing the gathering of Jamaat-e-Islami Lower Dir members,
Former central Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that Jamaat-e-Islami has begun a decisive struggle against the worst corruption, spread of drugs, misbehavior of youth and government incompetence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Now the matter has gone beyond meetings and speeches — we are establishing public committees in every village, every constituency, every township, which will be the basis for real change. He said that as a result of Jamaat-e-Islami’s nationwide membership campaign, millions of youth have joined Jamaat-e-Islami, now these youth will be organized, mobilized and made active in the field. Sirajul Haq said that these committees will not be just organizational cells but will be the voice of service, invitation and resistance in every area — which will stand against the corrupt mafia, cruel system and political self-interest. Sirajul Haq said that the accountability system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been paralyzed, institutions are helpless, and resources are in the hands of thieves.

“We have decided that we will not remain silent anymore — the youth in every settlement should stand up themselves, this is the first step towards change.” He clarified that the formation of public committees will be completed in every constituency and union council of the province by August 14. Through these committees: Intellectual and ideological training of new youth will be provided, invitation programs will be organized, a vigorous campaign will be launched against drugs, unemployment and social deterioration, and conscious youth will be prepared for leadership in the field of politics. Finally, Sirajul Haq gave a message to the youth: This is not the time to be spectators, but to play a leading role. Jamaat-e-Islami does not just give you slogans, it gives you a platform, ideology and character. Come, stand with us to save and change Pakistan.
