Rally in Jhelum Valley for the demand of Right to Self-determination

A rally was organized in chakar under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir to raise demand of the right to self-determination. According to details, a large number of citizens, including elders, youth, and children, participated in the rally. Citizens were holding banners and placards on which demands for the right to self-determination for an immediate solution to the Kashmir issue were written.

The citizens raised strong slogans against the ongoing Indian oppression and tyranny in occupied Kashmir.

The main slogan was “The Kashmir that has been soaked with blood is ours”.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that it is time for the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir issue and establish peace between Pakistan and India.

“If Kashmir gets the right to self-determination, then lasting peace can be established in South Asia”, he opined.

He said that peace is not possible in this region without a solution to the Kashmir issue. He said that Kashmiri people want freedom, justice and peace. Ghazali stated that peace in South Asia is linked to the freedom of Kashmir. He maintained that UN Security Council should fulfill its promise of a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.

Uzair said that India should know that the Kashmiri people want freedom.

Usman Ali Hashim said that India should learn a lesson after the success of the Battle of Bunyan-um-Marsus.

Qari Tahir Muhammadi said that civilized countries of the world should take steps to resolve the Kashmir issue.

Arif Dar said that people of Azad Kashmir are ready to stand with the armed forces of Pakistan for the freedom of occupied Kashmir.

Daniyal Hafeez said that they will join the struggle alongside the people of Kashmir.

Ibrahim Ishtiaq said that the youth of Azad Kashmir will not remain silent on Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

People in the protest demanded the United Nations Security Council to implement its resolutions on Kashmir.
