Islamabad : Emperor Naruhito of Japan celebrated his 64th birthday with a reception held by WADA Mitsuhiro, the Japanese ambassador to Pakistan. According to a news release, ministers, parliamentarians, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic community, and other dignitaries from the public and private sectors attended the ceremony, which was attended by Syed Jamal Shah, the Caretaker Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture.
The honorable guests and Ambassador WADA cut a cake to commemorate the Emperor’s birthday on February 23. Since taking the throne on May 1, 2019, Emperor Naruhito has served as a symbol of the unification of the Japanese people and of Japan. Asserting his thanks to the Pakistani government and people for their well-wishes on His Majesty the Emperor’s 64th birthday, H.E. Ambassador WADA welcomed the guests and noted the occasion.
In addition to thanking Pakistan and Japan for their long-standing friendly relations, the ambassador highlighted the contributions of everyone who has worked to further solidify our mutual relationships on an official, business, and personal level.
