On Saturday the field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir has expressed profound gratitude to the political leadership for their strategic foresight” during Marka-e-Haq (The Battle of Truth), a name given to Pakistan’s overall military response to India’s military misadventure earlier this month.
It should be remember that during war fear with India, not only the armed forces stood for their motherland and their moral was high up to the sky, but the brave citizens were also ready to fight nick to nick with their armed forces.
The army chief also lauded the seamless inter-services coordination that ensured operational success in Operation Bunyan um Marsoos (The Formidable Wall) according to a statement issued by the military’s media wing.
The field marshal was speaking at a dinner hosted by him to honor the political leadership, steadfast commitment of the armed forces, and the indomitable spirit of the people of Pakistan as demonstrated during the confrontation with India, the ISPR added.
The dinner reception came a day after Gen Munir formally received the “Field Marshal Baton” at a ceremony organized at the Presidency.
He was promoted to the highest military rank “in recognition of his brilliant military leadership, courage, and bravery, ensuring Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and courageous defence against the enemy,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement on May 21.
While speaking at the dinner, COAS Munir also acknowledged the unwavering role of Pakistani youth and media in countering the disinformation campaign waged by India, describing them as a ‘steel wall’ against malign propaganda.
The field marshal Asim Munir’s keen interest in the youth and media is a valid and important aspect of the whole package. The above statement shows that the field marshal is fully aware of the media war that fought by the main stream media and youth on social media. Actually both the media and the have youth fully dominate the India fake media.
On the other hand the political leadership, especially president Asif Ali Zardari, the prime minster Shehbaz sharif and their teams also played a vital role to unite the nation agaist the Indian and internal culprit’s propaganda.
In the celebrating diner in the regard of the political leadership of the country all the faces were looking charming and happy over the success of operation Bunyan um Marsoos. In the event the field marshal presented an especial portrait to prime minster, of the Pakistani attack on coward enemy forces, that seen of the diner reflects a message to the enemies, that the political and military leadership of the country is combined as metal wall that will not be destroy by anyone. Therefore it’s hoped that in feature such kind of unity will also be continue for maintain the long standing peace in the country. It will also boost the armed forces against terrorism in the war effected areas of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
