SWAT:A husband and wife died of suffocation due to gas filling the room in Aligrama area of Kabal Tehsil, while in other incidents, at least three-people including a girl lost their lives in Swat district.
According to the police, Malik Fazal Subhan, General Secretary of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Swat and his wife were sleeping in the room while the gas heater was left open in the Aligrama area of Tehsil Kabal last night.
Both the husband and wife died of suffocation due to gas filling in the room.
The family members broke the door of the room in the morning and took out their bodies and shifted them to Kabal civil Hospital.
Meanwhile , thirty-two-year-old Azad Khan tortured his wife at home in the Sakhra Gharai area of Tehsil Matta, She was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Azad Khan ended his life by shooting himself. His body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
Hazrat Hussain’s car ran out of control and fell into a ditch in Banjot area of Mangalwar. As a result of which he died on the spot.The local people carried out a rescue operation and removed the body and shifted it to the hospital.
According to the police, a fire suddenly broke out in the mud house of Iftikhar in Rang Mohalla area of Mingora city here on Tuesday, the family members ran away to save their lives. However, the twelve-year-old disabled girl Marwa, who was left in the house, died of severe burns. Household goods and furniture have also been burnt due to fire.
Later, rescue personnel brought the fire under control with the help of local people.
