Strict security measures have been implemented for the Tri-Nation Cricket Series, with the Ministry of Interior approving the deployment of the Army and Rangers from February 5 to 10.
During the matches, one company each of the Army and Rangers will be deployed. The Punjab Home Department had written a letter to the federal government upon the request of the police.
The Tri-Nation Cricket Series will feature teams from Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa, with matches scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on February 8 and 10.
