ASTANA: According to Azernews, Kazakhstan’s Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov has declared that the nation will hold large-scale army drills with the involvement of five countries: Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
The goal of the next major military drills is to promote collaboration and coordination amongst the participating nations in order to address regional security in a cooperative manner. Minister of Defense Zhaksylykov stressed that in order for these friendly countries and their military forces to work together to tackle the critical mission of guaranteeing security in the Central Asian region, strong connections must be maintained.
“This year, five states will participate in large-scale exercises that should be conducted at a very high organizational level on our nation’s territory. According to Minister Zhaksylykov, “maintaining friendly relations between brotherly nations and armed forces is extremely important for us to fulfill the task of ensuring security in the Central Asian region.”
