The announcement of Pakistan’s team for the Champions Trophy and the tri-nation tournament is expected today.
Sources indicate that Saud Shakil, Fakhar Zaman, Aamer Jamal, Khushdil Shah, and Abrar Ahmed are likely to be included in the squad, while Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Kamran Ghulam, and Saud Shakil will also be part of the team.
According to sources, Tayyab Tahir, Usman Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Salman Ali Agha, and Haris Rauf will also be part of the team. The 15-member squad will include Naseem Shah, Khushdil Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Aamer Jamal, and Abrar Ahmed.
Sources suggest that Sufyan Muqeem, Abdullah Shafique, and Abbas Afridi might be dropped, while Saim Ayub has not fully recovered.
The ICC Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, while India’s matches will be played in the UAE.
