Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the Ministry of Health on Tuesday to revise medical facilities that lie in the Federal Government in an effort to make Islamabad a model for the whole country in providing medical services. According to a press release of the PM Office, the Prime Minister stated, while chairping the meeting for the purpose of reviewing matters related to the Ministry of Domestic Regulations and coordination in federal capital. He said that the ruling administration favored the provision of medical facilities to all in the country. He asked the Ministry of Health to speed up the work on the Medical Complex and the Jinnah Research Center and launched a preliminary process for timely acquisition of a medical and surgical machine and equipment of the facility. “The pre -qualification process should be completed under the supervision of an expert, with the exception of the implementation of third -party construction work and awarding machines and equipment,” he said. PM Shehbaz also ordered the process of approval of the Charter for the University associated with the Jinnah medical complex. During a briefing on healthcare facilities in Islamabad, it was said that the Jinnah medical complex was established as a society under section 42 of the Act on Companies. The relevant management committee approved the main plan of the Medical Complex Jinnah. It was said that the forum initiated the process of recruitment for a unit management unit and implementation of the Jinnah Medical Complex project. The meeting was attended by the Minister for Planning AHSANA IQBAL, Minister of Economic Affairs AHAD Khan Cheema, Minister of Law and Justice Azam Nazeer TAR, Prime Minister Coordinator Malik Mukhtar Ahmed and other relevant government officials. The breakthrough ceremony of the medical complex was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz in July 2024. According to the Ministry of Information, which briefs about 800 soil channels, the medical center would include a modern state -Art medical facility, including the treatment of the most complex diseases of the lungs, heart, kidneys and cancer. The Prime Minister said it would not be just the most modern medical facility throughout the region, and not only satisfy the medical needs of people Rawalpindi and Islamabad, as well as Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and elsewhere and elsewhere. He said that the Jinnah medical complex will consist of modern laboratories and nursing schools, where our medical staff will be involved in advanced training and research.
