China’s Space Transportation Company has successfully tested its supersonic passenger jet, “Yunxing.”
This aircraft can reach speeds of 3045 miles per hour (Mach 4), meaning it can take passengers from London to New York in just two hours and cover the distance from Karachi to Lahore in only 13 minutes.
The Yunxing supersonic jet, which offers significant time savings, is expected to begin service in the coming years.
It operates with a Ramjet engine, which uses oxygen from the atmosphere for combustion, generating incredible speeds.
