First Pakistan-Made Satellite Launched into Space

Pakistan’s space agency, SUPARCO, has successfully launched its first satellite into space.

The first electro-optical satellite developed by Pakistan’s national space agency, SUPARCO, has been sent into orbit.

The Pakistani satellite was launched from China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center aboard a Long March 2D rocket, which proudly displayed Pakistan’s national flag.

According to reports, the EO-1 satellite is an advanced, locally manufactured satellite designed for multiple purposes. It is capable of environmental monitoring, agriculture, defense, and other applications.

SUPARCO has hailed the satellite launch as a significant milestone in Pakistan’s space exploration journey.
