When the convoy of food items and other important livelihood goods was ready to depart for sectarian violent Kurram, some culprits attacked the deputy commissioner Javed ullah Mehsud that stopped the whole peace process and now the 80 vehicles convoy is stuck in tal bazar that will be move after security clearance but peoples that have nothing to do with the clash are still waiting for foods and medicines in that cool weather.

so far it is good omen that the government of KPK, is welling for maintaining peace it will allow the convoy to move on but for that there is a need of long lasting peace for which a full fledge operation should be hold against the culprits, those are sabotaging the entire environment of the most sensitive boarder area tribal district.

According to the reports the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to act firmly against those responsible for the attack on Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javed ullah Mehsud, calling it a breach of a recently signed peace agreement between rival tribes in the district.

The decision was made during an emergency meeting presided by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur who discussed the situation after the Bagan firing incident. The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary and the police chief of the province among other officials.

The provincial government’s resolve comes hours after the Kurram Deputy Commissioner was wounded in a firing incident in the Bagan area.

It was concluded that local residents were accountable for the incident and that they had violated the peace agreement.

Authorities decided that those involved in the firing incident would be arrested immediately, with FIRs registered against them. “Head money will be announced to ensure the elimination of terrorists,” it was stated.

Noting that an assessment was being carried out of the situation in the crisis-hit region, the district administration has said the decision regarding the convoy would be taken after consultations.

The 14-point accord provisions the surrendering of weapons as well as the dismantlement of bunkers with a committee set to be constituted within 15 days — to be counted from the day of the signing of the peace deal — to start implementing the agreement.

Meanwhile, Barrister Saif, the adviser to the chief minister on information, while talking to the media in Kohat said that by the grace of Allah, everyone’s condition is now stable and out of danger.

He also mentioned that the deputy commissioner was the target of the attack earlier today. “Firing was carried out on the deputy commissioner’s vehicle a short while ago,” he added.

It is also important that the KP CM’s aide explained that the unknown assailants’ gunfire had resulted in injuries to the deputy commissioner and several law enforcers. “The situation has been managed, and the convoy has been temporarily halted,” he noted.

He assured that once the situation normalizes, the convoy will be sent to Parachinar. “As soon as the conditions return to normal, the convoy will be sent to Parachinar,” Barrister Saif confirmed.

Actually the government stance is right, after the violation of Jirga (set-in), now is the time to maintain law and order in the area. To safe these masses from more terrorism because of that violence and sectarian problem thousands of innocent women and children are isolated.

Meanwhile they are facing problems to attend doctors for their treatment and getting foods for daily life thus it is necessary to get rid of miserable situation by maintaining law and order in the Kurram District.

Now there is no space for culprits and sectarian extremists to disturb the peace of the already terrorism effected area, for achieving this goal a full fledge operation is the only solution as the president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari also backed that act for maintaining peace in the affected area.
