In the early hours of March 16, 2024, a group of six terrorists attacked a security force post in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district.
When our troops foiled the initial infiltration attempt, the terrorists rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the post, followed by several suicide bombings that caused part of the building to collapse, leading to the Shahadat of the five brave sons of the soil. The Shuhads include Havildar Sabir (resident of Khyber district), Naik Khurshid (resident of Lakki Marwat district), Sepoy Nasir (resident of Peshawar district), Sepoy Raja (resident of Kohat district) and Sepoy Sajjad (resident of Abbotabad district).
During the execution of the subsequent clearance operation, our troops led by Lt. Col. Kashif effectively engaged and sent all the six terrorists to hell.
However, during the intense firefight, Lt. Col. Syed Kashif Ali (Age: 39 years, Resident of Karachi) and Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar (Age: 23 years, Resident of Talagang District) led their troops from the front, who fought bravely, paid the supreme sacrifice and accepted the Shahadat.
Disinfection is underway to eliminate more terrorists present in the area as Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
