The earthquake rattled several cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Peshawar, and Lahore.
The intense earthquakes of 6.0 lasted only a few seconds before dissipating. People were observed exiting high-rise buildings in the capital city.

The earthquake caused light and strong tremors in Malakand, Upper and Lower Dir, Kohat, and Swat.
