UPPER DIR : The District Administration Upper Dir, has orgainzed district-level competition of Quran recitation and Naat Khawani was held at the District Council Hall Dir . The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Children participated with enthusiasm in the competition. 45 renowned Naat Khawans from across district participated in the competition.
The event was attended by a large number of people, including heads of line departments, MPA Yamin Khan, scholars, political and social personalities, and students from various govt and private schools.
the ADC Amir Ali shah and others speaking to gathering, he said that the true peace and brotherhood of the world lies in following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Muslims love the Holy Prophet (PBUH) more than their lives.the Additional Deputy Commissioner General said that Quran recitation and Naat Khawani are a means of understanding the universe. Reciting Naat creates a sense of love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) he added. We have the best Naat Khawans in our educational institutions, they just need patronage, which can illuminate Pakistan’s name in the whole Islamic world. He further said that children are the future of the nation, teachers work hard for their education and training, so parents should also fulfill their responsibility and help children move forward in the field of education.
At the end of Programme Additional Deputy Commissioner General Amir Ali Shah, Planning Officer, Tehsildar Dir and DSP circle Dir Police distributed cash prizes among the winners .
