It has been revealed that there are 20 million daily attempts to access unethical websites in Pakistan. The process of blocking blasphemous content and websites related to sexual harassment is ongoing across the country.
In this regard, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked 183,000 blasphemous websites, along with more than 844,000 websites related to sexual harassment. According to PTA officials, over 20 million daily attempts are made to access websites related to sexual harassment, and these attempts are blocked at the international gateway.
Officials stated that users sometimes bypass these restrictions using VPNs to access such content. PTA is committed to preventing this illegal access and will continue to take measures to block these sites and content.
