LOWER DIR: A passenger bus going from Karachi to Bajaur fell into a deep ditch at the location of Khazana Lower Dir, one person was killed while forty people were seriously injured. As a result of the accident, a passenger Yusuf son of Muhammad Kabir from Bajaur was died in the accident after the driver lost control of the passenger coach at Khazana Bypass near Timergara and 40 people were seriously injured, among the injured were women and children.
As soon as the information was received, the officers of Rescue 1122 district administration, Al-Khidmat Foundation Civil Defense and local citizens reached the accident site in large numbers and after starting the rescue, all the injured were taken out of the bus and transferred to the district headquarters hospital, Timergara, where the injured Yusuf was admitted. The son of Muhammad Kabir died on the way while being transferred to Peshawar, the condition of three injured persons is said to be very critical, and they were transferred to Peshawar after first aid.
After the emergency was declared, MPA Obaid ur Rehman, Deputy Commissioner Wasil Khan, DPO Dir Lower Ziauddin Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Hazrat Bilal reached District Headquarters Hospital Timergara and visited the injured, reviewed all the arrangements and issued instructions for the best treatment. On this occasion, Al-Khidmat Foundation and Civil Defense volunteers were present at the hospital in large numbers to donate blood.
